  • TREND ALERT! There are so many reasons to love this rose - her fragrance, the large, apricot blooms, and how she keeps her color without fading are just a few! Sunbelt® South Africa® was the recipient of the Gold Standard Award in 2009 and the Glasgow Gold Medal in 2006. She is simply dripping with large, rich, amber-colored, double blossoms that are non-fading and can be seen from across the garden. Her lush, romantic blooms of moderate fragrance are simply delightful. Sunbelt® South Africa® has dark green foliage, and the bush is upright and maturing between 4' - 5' tall.

They bring me such joy

I bought Sunbelt South Africa in October and received her towards the end of October. When I received the rose bush it had little foliage and was small. Two months later and look how green and healthy her foliage looks! The fragrance is amazing and is producing buds. Heirloom Roses really produces the most healthy and gorgeous roses! I have 11 rose bushes from Heirloom and haven’t had any issues yet with any. Follow their instructions and you won’t be disappointed! I am in zone 10 Southern California.

Very healthy and growing nicely

This is one of three Roses I sent to my daughter.
She is very happy with them all and excited to see them bloom in the future. She used the get growing products as directed. The plants arrived well pruned and in good shape and are now growing lots of new foliage.

The Little Engine That Could

This is the most cheerful little doer of a rosebush. I now have two. Even though I tried to strangle one in some blissfully overwatered California poppies, it never stopped blooming where it could and is recovering beautifully. It refused to quit blooming in the 8B high desert extended heat waves. If you aren’t the very best gardener —let alone rosarían— like me, I recommend South Africa for dependable, high turnover reblooming.
