The Alnwick Rose® features pretty, rich pink, cup-shaped buds opening into a deeply cupped flower of soft pink with pale outer edges. True to the old rose form, her flowers are beautiful at all stages. The Alnwick Rose® grows into a rounded, bushy, continually blooming plant with flowers blossoming intermittently from early summer to frost. She is moderately fragrant with a blend of old rose fragrance and a hint of summer raspberry. She is a great choice for beds, borders, or pots!

Beautiful fragrant rose

I absolutely love this rose. We are on season two in a half wine barrel on the patio and she is healthy and blooming. So far very disease free and easy. Love it so much! The fragrance is beautiful. My photos make them look more hot pink, but they fade to a gorgeous dark peach color.

Healthy Roses

I have bought a few roses from Heirloom Roses and I am always impressed how every rose I have purchased is super healthy and the care they take when packing them! Great instructions on the shipping box, how to videos and when ever I call them on the phone, they are always so helpful.I will be a life long customer!

Delicate and beautiful

This rose had me at its scent- it really does smell like a sweet raspberry rose. The petals are beautiful, ballerina pink, and full although my plant is relatively young. It does tend to shatter a little quickly but again it's a young plant. I love it and was one of the first roses I bought for my garden. The foliage is a lighter green, dense but also airy if that makes sense. it fills out very nicely.

just buy it already

I live in zone 5. This is my second favorite David Austin behind Jude The Obscure. This rose is the perfect color pink and the fragrance is amazing. A continual bloomer, this rose puts out beautifully shaped, long lasting blooms. It makes me happy just to look at it. I have 3 in my small yard. I tell all my rose loving friends to buy this one.

Love the Alnwick Rose!

So beautiful! If you like Austin roses, you must get this one for the gorgeous, wonderfully fragrant blooms. I almost fell over when I saw and smelled the first bloom from my newly planted bushes (all three very healthy in my Massachusetts garden). The color of the blooms in my yard are a warm, pink that almost glows, maybe because they only get afternoon sun. The size of the blooms were larger than I expected, and they stay on the bush for a nice long time compared to some of my other Austin roses. Then, there's that incredibly nuanced fragrance! If one bloom can be so powerful, when my bushes fill out and mature--wow!
