This delicate rose will bring charm to any garden with its magnificent growing power and stunning blooms. The Generous Gardener™ produces 4” flowers which are beautifully formed with soft glowing pink at the centers paling slowly to the outer petals. When the petals open they expose numerous stamens providing a waterlily-like effect. This rose has strong, elegantly arching growth with polished, dark green foliage, making an excellent Climber that tops out around 15’ high. This stunning rose loves to climb pergolas, walls, fences, large trellises, and more. Enjoy this continual bloomer in zones 4-11.

This rose just grows and grows. It’s beautiful, I just wish it lasted longer. The flowers shatter within a day. Color fades almost immediately.
Planted in full sun in North Texas. Looks healthy and strong. Planted it in November 2023. All the roses I purchased from this company look healthy and some have all ready bloomed.
The Generous Gardener is planted by a trellis, placed by the previous owner, right in the middle of the back yard. it's a "perfect" spot for this beautiful rose. She is still a young planting, but already showing her delicate charm. She's revealed her soft beauty with a few blossoms this summer, her first season at our home. I am also thrilled at her resistance to disease---so important, especially so when working with a climbing rose, and when one hopes to have m-a-n-y roses. This rose is going to be a gorgeous "center piece"---in every sense and scent of the word.
To say that I am happy with this rose is an understatement of the year! It has had a very vigorous growth since planting, and it produces a very generous amount of blossoms throughout the growing season. The fragrance is lovely, and the blossoms are perfect in every way. I couldn't be happier--and now I'm off to see about building a support structure to handle this awesome beast of a rosebush!
