Tipsy

I bought a Tipsy Imperial Concubine from you folks sometime in the early '90's.
We have gone through rough times together and I am ready for another,
though she is doing very well in her pot still.

Thank you for all the bare roots!

My favorite!

I just planted this rose earlier this year, so it's small still but the roses it is producing are everything you could want in a bloom - big, lots of petals, gorgeous colors and most of all the fragrance is absolutely the best smelling rose I have ever smelled! It is strong and just perfect. I LOVE it!

Tipsy Imperial Concubine

zone 7 Western North Carolina on N/S stateline. I think I bought Tipsy for its' name and it is now in bloom for the first time and I am enchanted. The fragrance is not pleasing to me personally but the flower is just lovely. A creamy apricot and the shape is most pleasing. a lovely gentle flower that is going to take some protecting as the Jap Beetles are as taken with Tipsy as I am. Several times a day I go out and, with great satisfaction, crush the life out of the little buggers. The blossom despite the punishment appears to be long lasting and holds it's shape and color very nicely. I am very pleased with this lovely little rose.
