Planted this rose last season 2024. No blooms then, but certainly showing off now in 2025. Zone 8b Southern Oregon & in full sun. It needed some extra nurture this spring after the deer entered my fenced courtyard & ate down the growth from last year. Then I had to treat some brown spot issues after a very rainy season. Used Heirloom's fish fertilizer & supplemented with some Epsom Salts to boost magnesium levels a bit. The leaves greened up beautifully & is a very healthy plant now. There were beginning challenges & I do love this rose! Gorgeous blooms! I give it 5 stars! 💗
I already left a review for this gorgeous rose but I had to add another photo taken just a week later. Could this rose hold any more blooms?
I planted this rose in 2023 in humid South Carolina, zone 8b. I followed Heirloom’s recommendations on soil preparation and fish fertilizer feedings for the first year. Although it did take off and bloom its first year, the roses were few and small.. I read on their website to give the plant time to develop its root system before expecting roses as pictured. It is now 2025 and my beautiful rose is loaded with larger and fuller roses. I have to say it was so worth the wait. My only issue is our humidity and overspray from my neighbor’s sprinkler that runs rain or shine causing some black spot. I find neem oil spray helps.
I purchased this rose in February of last year. I planted it after it was shipped and it has vigorously grown. I live in Middle Georgia and our soils are sandy, silty, fine clays. It has beautiful green leaves and tons of buds. I know it’s going to be a showstopper!
