I used this solution over the winter on newly planted hydrangeas that were in trouble, and so far I think it has saved them. I bought five hydrangeas last spring from my local nursery before they had leaves, and should have returned them when there were still no leaves by July. Finally, a few tiny leaves popped out and when I planted them in fall I found out why they had trouble-there was really no root system. I planted them anyway and hoped for the best. Over the winter I applied the B-vitamin solution a few times to three of them, but never quite got around to the other flower bed where the other two were planted. This spring the hydrangeas that received the solution are covered in new leaf growth for a few weeks now and the two without vitamins just now have popped out a few meek leaves. Also, I poured some of this on my Antique rose along the way and within a week it grew canes two feet taller. I will be using this from now on.
