In zone 7b along the east coast, this rose still retains leaves in late December and during the summer, the pretty scented blooms look fresh for about 7-10 days out of water.
Stunning color. Love the color of this rose! Opens a brilliant orange, and gradually softens to a soft yellowish orange with pink tones. Does not have the large, big bloom like many of the tea roses. This rose is easy to grow. It is susceptible to black spot though in the South, easily remedied with spraying!
Welsh Gold English Rose is a beautiful rose! It opens a brilliant orange, gradually changing to a soft orange, and then apricot edges. It has not been any problem to grow. This rose bloom however, is a bit smaller in size than what I had anticipated. It still is stunning in bloom!
