Exceptional Rose

I ordered 12 roses which were delivered this year. This is the first I'm writing a review for, because it's my favorite. I only consider fragrant roses. This one has it, and is probably its most alluring feature. I don't find it to be licorice-like, but more like sweet candy. The closest I come to describing it is comparing it to tropical waterlily fragrance (which I've grown many times over the years). Sweet, candy-like, exotic with not even a hint of the classic tea-rose or fruity rose scent. It is so unique, in my rose experience. As to the color, it too is unique. Neither yellow nor white, but a shade in-between and subtly variable within each blossom. So far, although young and a relatively new plant in my yard, it has not been without a bloom. Zone 6a

Healthy rose on steroids!

This rose blooms non-stop all Summer and even now(December) in Zone 5 seems to be evergreen. It is not as fragrant as I thought it would be but almost seems to be a bionic freak of nature in how healthy and strong it is. No insect or fungal problems at all and I normally have trouble with Japanese beetles. I've never seen anything like it. I've even started cuttings to move this around my gardens. Highly recommend.

Smells yummy

I LOVE this rose! It smells exactly like Licorice! This is always my first blooming rose plant every year. And once it starts, it doesn't stop until fall. It's very healthy, never had issues with diseases or fungus. Always has many multiple blooms at once. And they last so long too. Another unique feature is how it can change colors!! When it first blooms in late spring, its a buttery lemon yellow (cooler weather). But during the hot end of summer its white! Very cool and beautiful both colors. Highly recommend

5 stars

I planted this rose 6/25. Bloomed 2 weeks later despite of thunderstorms and lots of rains. It’s also in somewhat dappled shade and were attacked by aphids and thrips. So far it gave me 3”flowers and I see 2 more buds growing. It’s a good rose! It has a faint lovely scent. I love it, it’s 5 stars for me.
