I love this rose and plant it wherever I live. Fragrance is heavenly. Everything struggles in my current soil but it is hanging on and I am encouraging it every day.
We bought our house in 1995, house built in 1982. The rose was here when we bought the house. We have deer so I let the rose grow really tall so they cant get to the roses. I really would love to get another one in case this one would ever die. Has anyone ever propagated a rose? I would love to know if it actually can be done.?
I remember first getting this rose in Berkeley and driving it home to San Francisco in an open car going over the bay bridge. The whole car was full of the incredible lemon blossom scent.
So glad Hierloom still has it for my new home in Washington!
This has to be my all time favorite rose. It's stunningly beautiful, and the fragrance is heavenly. Stronger than most roses. I cannot be without this one.
