  • Tatin is a glorious rose with huge 5" blooms of deep apricot fading to peachy-pink hues. Awarded the 2012 Gold Medal in Baden-Baden, Germany, Tatin is a robust Floribunda that blooms profusely with little care. His light fragrance is sweet, but not overpowering. This rose keeps compact at 3’ x 2’ and thrives in the front of beds or in pots. A great choice for smaller-sized cutting gardens or to add a pop of beauty in a smaller space.

So ruffly!

Tatin arrived very healthy and ready to grow. I love the flowers on this rose!! They’re such a pretty, warm color and so ruffly! It’s not a fast grower and is somewhat prone to blackspot, but it’s a great rose and one I’m happy to have in my garden.

First bloom!

I received this and planted it in Mid-September. After only 2 months, it just opened it's first bloom and there's another on the way!! The apricot color is stunning and the plant is very healthy.

Tough Little Beauty

I planted this rose approximately one month ago. Within two weeks of planting, my entire yard was trenched for an irrigation system. Tatin was in a rather small bed, so the crew didn’t have much room for all the dirt. I went out one evening to find Tatin almost buried, protected with her back to my small concrete birdbath. The workers had tipped the birdbath on its side and mounded the dirt all around. It was the saddest sight! One week ago the job was finally complete, Tatin was breathing fresh air and was adorned with fresh mulch and compost at her feet. As of today, Tatin is covered in blooms and buds. I thought the stress would kill her, but she has proven herself a true fighter. The blooms are very small, as expected for her first baby steps, but I know she will grow to be everything Heirloom’s description promises. I can’t wait to see what next year brings. (Zone 8b)

one month later...

This is the first time we have ordered several roses and they all came in perfect condition. One month later, they have resumed producing leaves and growing vigorously.. I am in zone 5b on the coast of Maine where it has been very chilly and rainy this summer. Certainly not ideal conditions for our new roses. We will certainly do an update next summer.. We will INDEED BE ORDERING MORE! These roses are in great shape despite the weather challenges!
