Introduced in 1807, White Moss creates a spectacular singular profusion of medium to large, pure white, double blooms of 17-25 petals with mossed buds. Her dark green foliage contrasts the pure white blooms beautifully. As with many old roses, she is full of thorns and prickles.

Beautiful!

Slow to get established and bloom, but the blooms are worth the wait. They smell incredible, and the white of the rose petals against the fuzzy/mossy green foliage is really cool. I bought this in May of 2020, and it just bloomed for the first time this spring/summer of 2022. The story behind this rose is really interesting too! It was a major contributing factor to buying it.
