very gorgeous blooms

I purchased two Lady Elsie May roses last year. They are a beautiful coral rose color and the shape of the blossom is gorgeous. I am on the waiting list to purchase two more. I am located in central Massachusetts, zone 6.

Best bloomer in my garden

Lady Elsie May gets off to a late start, not blooming in my zone 5 garden until around July 1, when the other roses are finished, but once she starts, she doesn't stop until the hard freeze comes in late fall. I discovered her in a public garden, blooming near the Knockouts, and outshining them in every way. I have five in my garden now and am planning to add more as a backbone of all-season color. She is pretty much disease and pest free with no chemical intervention, and is one of the only roses of the 125 in my garden that seems resistant to rose midge. She is truly an outstanding rose.

Gorgeous blooms

I had a Lady Elsie May until 2 years ago when I had work done on my house. I have been looking a long time to replace it, and was directed here. I purchased 2 plants. One for me and one for my aunt in Mass. Lady Elsie May has gorgeous blooms, and is a hardy plant. I used to get a plethora of blossoms on the plant. I originally purchased mine because my grandmother's first and middle names was Elsie May.
