Oklahoma Rose

Satisfied with it.

Fabulous rose!

Oklahoma rose is vigorous, and hold roses on strong upward stems. Oklahoma did very well, growing fast and blossoming generously. Blossoms last and the color doesn’t fade away. A sweet fragrance completes the portrait of this very satisfying rose.

Classic Hybrid Tea, Long Stems

Being from Oklahoma, I'm a bit partial to this rose, but for good reasons. If you look at a mature specimen, everything about it says 'hybrid tea'. It's upright, about 5 feet, with blooms one-to-a-stem on long stems and with classic hybrid tea form.
The color is not black at all, but a beautiful dark maroon-red. This productive and vigorous rose has excellent hybrid tea form and a very strong, sweet, old rose fragrance. It's highly rated by the ARS and easy to see why. It's essential for your cutting garden; I've cut a stem nearly 3 feet long once! It's now our official state flower, too. I planted 5 new ones together and can't wait to watch them mature.
It's a magical experience to watch as the dark red buds plump up and spiral open. A must-have hybrid tea for sure!!

Love my Oklahoma roses

My two Oklahoma roses arrived carefully packaged and healthy. I replanted them in pots so I could take better care of them in the heat of this summer. Both will be blooming in a few days. No sign of any problems.
I am so happy to have these roses after a long search. A pleasure to deal with Heirloom Roses.
