Anna’s Promise was named after Downton Abbey’s head housemaid, Anna Bates, and shows off unique, golden tan blooms with a pink blush and copper reverse. She gives off a delicious grapefruit and apple scent and displays deep, glossy green foliage against an upright bush. Anna’s Promise is very disease-resistant and blooms prolifically throughout the season. We love her in the cutting garden as her gorgeous scent and long, strong stems make a statement in any arrangement.

Absolutley Stunning!

"Anna's Promise" is a pure delight! My husband bought it as a surprise at the end of the season last fall in September and planted it right away in our garden. It had one beautiful bloom on it and within days we noticed three more buds. We left her alone. The blooms were even more beautiful than the picture. We still had blooms at Christmas and everyone who visited wanted to see it. I did my usual hard prune and dormant spray late in January. It is already covered with new growth and looks really healthy. I cannot wait to see Anna fulfill her promise this year. So exciting! Amazing rose! We live in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, zone 8b and our Anna is in full sun.

Fantastic

Got one of these in June and planted on the west side of my home - very sunny in afternoon. It has produced blooms already and is exactly as described - fragrant and simply beautiful. Blooms last longer that some and fade out beautifully. I will plant more of these as soon as I can clear more of my yard for roses. :)
