Looking forward to Spring 2025

I planted my Alchemist Rose in September of 2023. It has been steadily growing since, and has proved to be a healthy rose. I did have a few blooms this past Spring (2024) and they were beautiful! I live in Zone 8 where it can be very hot and humid. Not surprisingly, the rose responded by losing a lot of leaves to black spot, but it didn’t take much for it to recover when temperatures cooled. I have been pleased, thus far, with Alchemist, and look forward to enjoying this climbing rose for years to come.

WOW

Took a couple years. Forst 2 one or two blooms this year about 10 ft tall and covered with blossoms. By my front walkway sort of faces Southeast

Amazing!

I planted alchemist last year. In its first season it grew about three feet, but no blooms of course. I have it in a six foot oblisk, and it is now over the top. It gave me well over a dozen big, gorgeous, fragrant blooms this June. I'm in zone 4b, so I mulched it with aged straw and wrapped it well, and had zero die back. Alchemist is just an amazing rose!

My teenagers favorite!

This is my daughter’s favorite. She is a teenager and not a rose enthusiast so that’s gotta mean something! Not much growth last year, but really took off after a dose of fertilizer this year. Its is a very pretty plant with lovely flowers. A delicate swirl of color. It does just fine in our Maine winters. I will definitely order another- or two!
