Lovely!

I wanted a hardy climber for a walk through arbor from my yard to my neighbors. It has almost no thorns which is perfect for a walk through. Repeat blooms very well. Beautiful with purple clematis growing through it!! Love Heirloom Roses!!

Strong and Healthy Canes

John Davis is the second rose in the Canadian Explorer series that I've grown. I planted it in fall here in Michigan. It arrived with green, strong, and healthy canes. It is busy establishing roots next to my rose trellis. I look forward to its blooms next summer!

Hit the Jackpot!

I picked up two containers of John Davis off. a clearance rack having no clue about them! I wanted something to climb up my pergola. I planted them at the base of two posts and hoped for the best! I am in the PNW so zone 9,-mild winters usually.
These plants wanted to grow and grow they have! Now in their third spring they are reaching over the top of the pergola and bursting with gorgeous, spectacular pink blooms! They frame the opening to the garden and surround you as you sit and swing! I’m thrilled with this beautiful climbing rose!

Extremely hardy, lovely climber

I grew this climbing rose in Alberta, Canada where it gets extremely cold in winter (Zone 3). It thrived beautifully year after year and was absolutely covered in blooms. No problems with powdery mildew or black spot - very healthy and vigorous.
I highly recommend this variety.
