Adventurous (Potted)

Adventurous is a colorful bearded Iris with lemon-yellow standards that have soft white veining and violet-blue falls edged in bright ruby red. A fuzzy yellow and blue beard adds extra detail to each bloom. It flowers in mid to late spring on strong 35" stems and brings bold contrast to the garden. Hardy in Zones 4–9, Adventurous is deer resistant and makes a great cut flower for spring arrangements.

Adventurous is sold in a 1-gallon pot containing 2 rhizomes.

Planting Instructions: Transplant upon arrival.

  1. Choose an area that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight and has good drainage.

  2. Plant with the rhizome’s top exposed at the surface of the soil, and firmly pack the soil around each rhizome.

  3. Space Iris rhizomes 12-24” apart.

  4. Water after planting and continue watering at least once a week for the remainder of the growing season.
