Alertie is an early-blooming herbaceous Peony with soft pink, double blooms that gradually fade to white with a light pink blush. The flowers are about 6" across and have a sweet, classic peony fragrance. It grows 28–32" tall and blooms in early to mid-spring. Hardy in Zones 3–8, Alertie is a reliable variety with attractive green foliage and is a lovely choice for cut flowers.
Alertie is sold as one root with 3-5 eyes.
Fall Planting Instructions:

Choose an area with at least 6 hours of sunlight with soil that has good drainage.

Dig a hole 12-18” deep. Mix soil with an all-purpose fertilizer. Add the amended and loosened soil back into the hole.
