The reviews for this one had me hesitant to buy but I’m a sucker for purples. Planted beginning of this season as twigs and sparse leaves and we are on our third round of blooms. Second round had some purple, only one has opened this round so far so we’ll see how coloring is but she’s been good to me so far. Planted with a mix of compost, manure, bone meal and the most basic soil from the big box store. The heat has been brutal and this one has been a favorite for the leaf cutter bees. Thriving nonetheless!
Planted last year and didn't bloom much, but took off this year, it's now on the second flush of blooms this year. Beautiful color, long-lived blooms, and is showing great resistance to both blackspot and thrips (big problems in my area).
Im considering getting another.
Have had Burlesque for about 2 months now. Arrived with little to know foliage but has since filled out her bare canes with dark green shiny leaves. Can't wait to see her 1st bloom!
Cute and full little roses with a sweet scent grow with beautiful stripes! It’s a great addition when paired alongside larger roses! I planted it this spring (Zone 7B - Long Island, NY), fed it with fish fertilizer, and have 12 buds, four of which have opened! Thanks, Heirloom Roses for another beauty!
