Drama Queen is an award-winning bearded Iris known for its bold color and oversized blooms. It has deep purple standards and golden-buff falls streaked with wine-red veins. Rusty orange beards stand out against the dark tones. The flowers are large and frilly, making a big impact in the garden. Blooming in mid-spring on tall 38" stems, it's hardy in Zones 4–9, deer resistant, and great for cut flowers.

Drama Queen is sold in packs of 3 for fall planting.

Planting Instructions: 

  1. Choose an area that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight and has good drainage.

  2. Plant with the rhizome’s top exposed at the surface of the soil and firmly pack the soil around each rhizome.

  3. Space Iris rhizomes 12-24” apart.

  4. Water after planting and continue watering at least once a week for the remainder of the growing season.
