La Belle Epoque

Warm, neutral tones shift over time with this lovely double Tulip. Layered, peony-style petals open to copper gold or salmon apricot that shift to caramel brown and silver-pink. It’s a popular cut flower and grows up to 18” tall in full sun to partial shade.

La Belle Epoque is sold in packs of 10 for fall planting. 

Fall Planting Instructions: 

  1. Choose an area with partial to full sun that has good drainage.

  2. Dig a hole 6-8” deep and mix granular fertilizer with soil at the bottom of the hole. Tulip bulbs should be planted 6” below the soil.

  3. Place bulbs 2-3” apart with points facing upward, and then gently pack the soil over the bulb.

  4. Water once and then not again till spring.
