I planted these end of May from rose only and by June it had tripled in size and I had my first bloom!! Since then it is now about 6-7 feet tall and has overgrown the trellis! It is also very full. The lush and thick quality has surpassed my expectations. And for the record I do not have a green thumb!!

Never have I smelled a rose as sweet as Earth Angel. Her perfume is intense and wonderful. I planted this rose along with others this spring and I’m loving Angel and her scent as well as that of Wollerton Old Hall. I’m also very lucky that I’m inundated with blooms from both.
In year two, this rose bush is a solid six feet tall with consistent deadheading. She’s vigorous and full, blooming nonstop in clusters from top to bottom. Early in the spring, her flowers were cupped and deep pink. As the summer got hotter, they’ve become pale pink and almost peony-like with tons of petals opening into a pompom. The Japanese beetles adore the blossoms but leave the foliage alone. With regular treatment, the pest situation stays under control.
I bought this rose a couple of months ago and planted into a container. The plant is still small, but new growth is showing up nicely. She even had two blooms already and both looked just like in the first picture - the color and the shape. So far so good. Looking forward to years with this beauty.
My Alnwick Rose stopped blooming and dropped all her leaves very early in year one. I was prepared to replace it this year, but she’s actually thriving now. Her large, warm pink flowers are always picture perfect and strongly scented. Definitely worth the wait.
David Austin roses rarely disappoint, even if they can be sensitive to southern humidity. My first year Wollerton has been surprisingly healthy and has produced several breathtaking roses already. I might need another!
Mr. Lincoln is a classic beauty with velvety red blossoms and dark foliage right from the start. I’ve struggled to find a red rose that holds its color in this southern heat and this one is exceeding my expectations.
At two years old, my Lady is a massive, thriving display of fragrant 4” roses that has been blooming prolifically all summer, Truly the focal point of my rose garden.
She might be thin, but my first year bush has produced nearly a dozen ivory roses already. They’re classic, high centered blossoms that start out with faint apricot buds. Very lovely.
This one struggled a little at first, but came back strong in a few short weeks. Its very first bloom was surprisingly large and absolutely gorgeous. I’m excited for more.
I just got her 2 weeks ago and she already grow that much, blooming and is fragrant!
Thank you Heirloom for the quality roses 🌹 ❤️
Upright and disease resistant. Boast the most beautiful and full 3" blooms. The blooms last the longest of all my roses not even koko can compete. Stems are all strong and thick, its always producing blooms. The blooms also dont mind the 100 degree July scorch. It's her first year and she's already 3.5 ft tall. She's my favorite and she's truly unfussy and perfect.
I’m in love with this rose. She’s a show stopper in our DC-area container garden. She’s been a bit of a slow grower compared to the Earth Angel, which we got at the same time, but I will say her blooms last ages, even in this crazy heat and humidity we have in my zone. Can’t wait to see how she does in the years to come.
This is her first year and after only a month or so she’s shooting out tons of blooms. Smells gorgeous and looks so romantic in our container garden. The blooms can fry a bit in our hot, humid DC area summer, but she’s no worse for the wear, and I’m sure would be even better if she had a bit of afternoon shade. Next year she’ll be hardier too I’m sure.
Quietness is one of the best roses I grow in 6b. Superb bloomer, lovely fragrance, sizable pink flowers but never any issues with balling unlike some of my other larger-flowered plants. I have heavy blackspot pressure in my garden and this is consistently one of the cleanest plants in the garden. Nicely shaped plant without much pruning work. An absolute gem.
I purchased the Agatha Christie climbing rose last year and wasn't very impressed. This year I love, love, love this rose. A beautiful vibrant pink. I have 2 on each side of my arbor. I am thinking of ordering more once i put in a decorative fence to keep out the deer. Review from state of Washington.
We purchased this rose just days after our 14 year old husky died as a memorial to her. She loved laying near our other rose bushes and would sunbathe near them. It only seemed fitting to memorialize her with the Earth Angel rose bush. Just 7 weeks after her passing, the rose bush produced 14 flower buds. Days later, 3 flowers bloomed. The scent is heavenly and a beautiful addition to our garden. Two weeks after planting, I have been fertilizing with an organic liquid fish fertilizer weekly. All of my roses seem to love it. I’m in zone 5. The Earth Angel rose has quickly become my favorite flower in the garden, with its subtle color, abundance of soft petals and beautiful scent.
This compost is dark and rich looking with a very pleasant smell not really minty but earthy and fresh. I used a small amount mixed in with potting soil and then as suggested used mychorrizae around the roots and then filled in around the rose and topped with a generous amount of this mint compost. My roses are beautiful, healthy and blooming.
It’s a fine rose. Compact. Blooms an average amount. But mine smells fantastic. It’s my husband’s favorite. It’s smells like a nice face cream & not heavy old rose. I only grow very fragrant roses.
This is my FIRST rose I’ve ever bought! I’m absolutely in awe of its’ beauty and fragrance!
I’m hooked on roses now!
Thank you Heirloom Roses!
Shipped on time, healthy plant - its producing leaves already. All the roses I’ve ordered over the years have thrived. I’m very satisfied with the roses and have many compliments from those walk by .
We have purchased 300+ stakes from Heirloom because they are such great quality with welded metal and weather resistant printing on them. We host many garden events for charity and these stakes make a big difference in engaging people with our roses.
