Silver Jubilee® is a wonderfully fragrant rose with double, 4" blooms and a petal count of 40+. It is always the most beautifully foliaged of all varieties at the Portland Rose Garden. Her color is an incredible mix of silvery pink, apricot, coppery salmon, and tints of peach. A truly uniquely colored bloom! Silver Jubilee® is a continual bloomer making it an excellent cut flower. Peter Beales describes Silver Jubilee® as "one of the best roses ever raised". It’s no wonder she is the parent of so many roses. Her awards include the President's International Trophy and the Gold Medal from England's Royal National Rose Society. Clearly a winner in our books!

So vibrant!

Once this rose is established for a year or 2, the blooms are absolutely gorgeous and 2 tone in Spring time and Fall flushes. The heat of the summer fades them just slightly but are still pretty. It does tend to be a blackspot magnet for me in the humid northeast but using a systemic before it blooms seems to keep it away early in the rainy season and just being diligent about preventing it the rest of the season. Even still, if BS hits, you can completely defoliate this rose and it pushes new leaves out immediately and will be full again within a week. Overall I love this rose despite the BS, 4 stars only due to the BS susceptibility. .

Disappointed

I love the color and the rose itself but I am disappointed.
There’s no fragrance at all that I could smell. I bought three pots a few months ago and only this Silver Jubilee disappoints me.

Gorgeous Rose

I just wanted to adjust my previous review. I meant to give it five-stars not three. I LOVE the rose and the leaves not being black is not a big deal to me. She is a stunner and I will buy it again!

Gorgeous rose

Silver Jubilee is a gorgeous rose with a beautiful salmon pink color. Not sure why but the leaves are not the black color from the photo. I am happy I got it. It is in its second year and is covered in blooms.

Beautiful salmon-pink blooms! She is covered in them and is doing great! Black spot is not much of an issue now.
