Tango puts on an exceptional performance of red-orange blooms with decorative, painted, yellow centers and the occasional white rim. This modern Shrub rose was hybridized by Sam McCredy and is one of the best of his “hand painted” roses. The 4", semi-double flowers have 13-18 petals and bloom in flushes of small clusters throughout the season. Tango is a tall, bushy and nearly thornless Shrub with large, semi-glossy, bronze-green foliage.

Survived The Heat!

This little guy survived the hottest Las Vegas Summer ever. The blooms did bleach out due to the weather, to be expected...and it does have small thorns. One plant that was getting the brunt of the summer morning sun also had a plugged dripper that I only discovered after it started to struggle. It pulled through with flying colors!
