Limoncello

Two two-year-olds have been happy and repeatedly blooming in large pots for all 12 months in direct sun exposure to variable climate of Joshua Tree CA lowlands. Purchased to train over tree stumps and will advise how that works out when it happens.

The most bountiful rose in the garden

I’ve had my Lemoncello for a few years now and when I tell you she explodes, I mean she explodes!

I’m in zone 8b. She’s planted in organic soil in one of my raised beds with about 6 hours of sunlight. She always has blooms and I even have to cut her back several times a year because she grows so fast! My bees LOVE her and she smells AMAZING. By far one of the easiest, most dependable roses in my garden. No issues with fungus at all.

You will definitely get your money’s worth with her.

Blooming Roses!

This is hard to believe but this lovely rose arrived heavily pruned for shipping but in one week it was blooming!
Now it is November and still has blooms!! The color of the roses are a cheery yellow that makes me smile every time I see it.
Love it!

Hardy yellow rose

I’ve had this rose for several years, planted on a rocky hillside with thin soil in direct sun. It took a while to get going but now it’s going gangbusters. So far, it is not as floriferous as the one shown in the photo, but I hope it’s getting there. It has funny shaped blooms that are attractive on the arching branches. I recently read that this rose is very environmentally friendly in that it needs little water. That is very true because mine never gets any water except what falls from the sky. It seems like a great rose for any location and climate but I do suspect it needs the full sun mine is getting. Very different rose than most of the others I have (90+). I would not buy this rose if I only had room for a few roses and had very good locations with good soil for them, but if you have a challenging spot like mine, this is a perfect rose for it.

This bush is delightful and very disease resistant. Long canes, needs space. Grows so fast! Get it!
