  • It’s no surprise that all the reviews for Blue Girl fawn over her lavender-blue color and intense, lilac-rose fragrance. She is as close to blue as roses come! Classic, high-pointed, 5" blooms grow on strong stems with upright growth and minimal thorns. This continual bloomer features mid-green, matte leaves and was a winner of the Rome Gold Medal. If you love Blue Girl, check out Poseidon as well!

Beautiful and healthy

I purchased Blue Girl late this past Spring. The plan took a while to get started but by the end of the season it put out some very healthy, strong growth. A couple of flowers so far, but they are beautiful.

So Beautiful!

This Rose brought me to Heirloom Roses. Lavender is my favorite color and when I saw her, I had to have her! She arrived May 2024, came beautifully packaged with so much love and care. I planted her within a week. I was a bit concerned because she had only 2 canes and they were very wimpy; especially compared to Sand Castle that I received her with, which had TONS of much thicker canes. She leafed out faster and gave me blooms the first of July. The blooms were small but soooo beautiful! I can not want for this one to mature! The canes currently are still kinda small, but I do notice some growth and this one seems to be the healthiest of the 12 roses that I have planted. Zone 8B

One of my favorite roses

I planted it and within two weeks I had a tiny bloom. It had a strong scent for such a small flower !! The following week I had another one ready to open up and it was larger than the first. The fragrance is enchanting !!
