Planted last Sept in zone 8b and am blessed with gorgeous, fragrant roses in early May this year!
I bought this rose a out 4 years ago now. The rose is beautiful and smells heavenly!!! However, although the actual rose blooms every year. The canes die every winter. New growth always comes up with new blooms. But, pruning the dead canes every Spring is a pain... and the thorns ouch! literally painful HA! so, if you want extra work in your zone 5 illinois garden this Rose survives winter, but the canes die every winter. :/ And no I am not going to be out in the freezing cold burlaping the canes even though for me is a shorter bush every year, I look forward to the Blooms and NOT look forward to pruning the canes. I hope that helps zone 5 illinoians :)
This is the first time I have ordered this rose and he does not disappoint. I planted in the beginning of March (2026)
This is the second time I have ordered from Heirloom Roses and they do not disappoint. I ordered two different roses and they both arrived healthy and beautiful. I am having great growth on both.
Truly, I haven’t had the best luck with roses until this beauty. First year they had a few blooms. Second year they shot up and are show stoppers. They make my gardener’s heart happy.
I bought this from heirloom in June 2025 and it has grown so much in less than a year and put on quite a show with so many blooms this following spring. I'm in love and impressed with this rose. I'm in central california and it does really well in more than 6 hrs of sun. The petals do not get all crispy. I had to put a stake in because it got so tall with so many blooms that it became top heavy. I definitely recommend this rose and it's one of my best bloomer.
I purchased this Crown Princess 👑 bare root rose late 2025. Planted in November in zone 9 Las Vegas. By April we had our 1st bloom. GORGEOUS! By end of April, several blooms. We will see how she does with the brutal desert summer but so far satisfied in mid May.
I had an awful time trying to find a replacement for the Penelope I had to leave behind when I moved, so was thrilled when I was able to get one from Heirloom. A true antique variety, this sweet rose looks exactly as it's pictured, blooms constantly all season, and smells wonderful. And because Heirloom packages and ships their roses so carefully, they all arrive strong and healthy. Also they have enough sense not to ship roses to northern Ohio in March!
I had a Frau Karl Druschki for many years, but was unable to bring it when I moved. And some of these antique varieties are very hard to find, so I was happy to find it at Heirloom. It is an actual white rose, not cream colored, and produced large, fragrant blooms.
In addition, Heirloom has the best packaging and shipping of any company I have dealt with. They don't simply shove a bare root rose in a box, but place it in a plastic bag of soil.
It’s her second year in my garden and she’s starting to show her might. Massive flowers for a climber, dark shiny foliage. If you like bright colors you must have her in your garden. Recovered well from late frost damage and resists good against disease; she is not for those who want fragrance though.
We have had cool cloudy weather here in central Texas this spring. Despite that, Freida has put on leaves and just put on her first bud even though she was planted only 3 weeks ago. Very happy with her.
I do not have a place to review the 4 Carefree Winder roses so here goes: planted 3 weeks ago, putting on leaves and all 4 are already setting buds. I admired these roses for 2 years before I had a place to put them but they were definitely worth the wait.
I bought 2 honey Dijon roses in the fall, they did great over winter in zone 8A. And are blooming this spring! Love this rose.
Planted four new rose plants in planters (large pots). All four are thriving, with blossoms on three of the plants. One rose is in a more shaded area, but it has buds that are almost ready to open.
I ordered this rose as soon as it was back in stock and am so glad I was able to add it to my garden. She bloomed within just a few weeks of being planted and is an absolute stunner. Just gorgeous!
This was one of two different varieties that I got and I planted each in a clay pot within a day of delivery, just for the time being, to try to make sure I find a location with the right amount and type (morning if possible) sun. So far so good with a lot of nice leaf growth.

I’ve never grown roses but your choices were so inspiring that I took the leap. So far so good. The plant arrived in perfect condition and I followed your instructions. I’ve now got beautiful foliage and three rosebuds! Yahoo!
I have had this about a month or so and though I cant comment on the rose flower. color or scent, this one did not skip[ a beat between shipping and leafing out. I potted this one up the day after it arrived and it started pushing out its shoots post haste. Even with the temps swinging wildly between 30s and 90s YES Maryland Springs are wild, this one did not stutter. The plant is bushing out better than expected for such a short timer in ground and with odd temps. Did a full unboxing on my insta @Green_Daddy_Plants
I have had this rose from Heirloom since early fall, and it has finally shooted and bloom.
I am so in love with this rose with both it's form and scent. I am thinking of getting another plant from Heirloom.
I bought my Don Juan about three or four years ago after spending a lot of money on roses from big box stores and seeing them shrivel in no time. I finally broke down and initially bought a few from Heirloom and i am so happy that i did. I am in Central Florida and my Don Juan blooms all year round. It has a delicious fragrance and is a show stopper. People passing by stop to look at it since it is so beautiful. Today i have about 4 rose bushes from Heirloom and they are all as majestic as my Don Juan.
Beautiful addition to my garden with this white Eden Climbing Rose. Has an amazing scent and big healthy blooms.
Purchased my Leonardo Da Vinci climbing rose back in March and it is finally in bloom and it does not disappoint. The blooms are absolutely stunning.
I've been trying to get another one of these from Heirloom for several years now... My first one was planted in shade and quickly grew upward... stunning to see but too high up to smell . I'd like another to train closer to the ground because her scent is heavenly!
I just received the Cloud 10 Rose at the end of March. It's just over 4 weeks later, and we already have beautiful blossoms! The scent is light but lovely, and I can't wait until next year!!
I received a very healthy well packaged rose that immediately began vigorous growth. It bloomed a couple of times it's first year and I wasn't that impressed. It seemed like more of a landscape rose than a collector's garden rose. Long story short, I was wrong. It's first spring bloom as a 1 year old produced deeply cupped large blooms one typically expects from an Austin by the dozens, with some bloom clusters exceeding 30 blooms. I love this rose!
